Paris is as much reviving by night as it is by day, numerous nightclubs are spread out all over its arrondissements, each with its own character and style. The nightlife in Paris is known all over the world. Both tourists and locals use it to escape the reality of the day and have a night filled with fun.

The nightlife varies from discotheques, private clubs, salsa bars, pubs but also cinema’s or whatever else you can come up with. Whether you like techno or French songs, Paris has it. The styles Techno, house, garage and Latino are very popular sounds in clubs nowadays. Entrancefees who lay around €15,-  often come with one free drink. Clubs  usually open at about 23.00 and tend not to close until the next morning. The best time to arrive is around 03.00 o’clock. It is wise not to arrive before midnight, the clubs will be very empty and you’ll have to wait for at least two hours before the party really gets going.

The best place to go out in summer is by far Montmarte, furthermore the Sacre-Coeur and Bastille. All these places are packed with clubs and bars. The younger part people prefer going to Oberkampf, a place which is getting more and more popular.
